In a celebration marking its 60th anniversary, Franz Bracht Kran-Vermietung GmbH welcomed the delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1030-2.1 mobile crane. This delivery not only commemorates six decades of Bracht’s commitment to excellence but also signifies the company’s continued partnership with Liebherr, spanning half a century.
The Liebherr LTM 1030-2.1, adorned with the company’s 60th-anniversary logo, joins Bracht’s fleet of 15 machines of this type, reaffirming the company’s dedication to innovation and reliability in heavy-load operations. Franz Bracht Jr., representing the next generation of the Bracht family, accompanied his father Dirk in receiving the commemorative crane, showcasing the family’s enduring passion for cranes and heavy loads.

Dirk Bracht, Managing Director of Franz Bracht Kran-Vermietung GmbH, emphasized the importance of two-axle mobile cranes in the company’s fleet, highlighting their ecological and economic advantages over heavier alternatives. Despite increasing competition from other equipment types, Bracht remains committed to the versatility and efficiency offered by two-axle mobile cranes, citing their lower environmental impact and cost-effectiveness.
The Liebherr LTM 1030-2.1, introduced at the Intermat trade fair in Paris in 1997, holds a special place in the history of mobile cranes. As the world’s first mobile crane equipped with modern data bus technology, it revolutionized the industry with its innovative features. Over the years, Liebherr has continuously updated the LTM 1030-2.1 to meet evolving market demands, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and integrating advanced technologies such as VarioBase® variable supporting base and Stage 5 engine emissions standards.
Reflecting on Franz Bracht’s legacy, Dirk Bracht emphasized the company’s enduring commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. With a fleet of 1,400 vehicle units, including 292 mobile cranes ranging from 7 to 1,600 tonnes in load-bearing capacity, Franz Bracht Kran-Vermietung GmbH remains a trusted partner in various industries, including wind turbine manufacturing, reinforced concrete construction, and petrochemicals.
The longstanding partnership between Franz Bracht and Liebherr, which began with the purchase of a LG 1130 lattice boom mobile crane in 1974, exemplifies a relationship built on trust, honesty, and loyalty. As both companies celebrate this significant milestone, they look forward to continuing their shared journey and innovation in the heavy-load industry.
