CEO Craig Jasienski Leaves Wallenius Wilhelmsen

The Norwegian car carrier owner, Wallenius Wilhelmsen says that by mutual agreement Jasienski steps down after 30 years of working with the group as of Monday 08 March 2021.

While the company searches for a replacement, their CFO Torbjørn Wist will step up as acting CEO. Wist joined Wallenius Wilhelmsen last in October.

“The board extends its gratitude to Craig Jasienski for his efforts in various positions in the group over more than 30 years,” Wallenius Wilhelmsen said.

Jasienski has been president and CEO of Wallenius Wilhelmsen ASA since its establishment in April 2017. He was formerly president and CEO of Wallenius Wilhelmsen subsidiary Eukor Car carriers in South Korea, and CEO at the former organisation, Wallenius Wilhelmsen AS. In addition, Jasienski served as CEO of United European Car Carriers (UECC) from 2007 to 2012 which is jointly owned by Wallenius Wilhelmsen and NYK.
