The Hamburg District Court has appointed Dr. Christoph Morgen as preliminary insolvency administrator for Hansa Heavy Lift.
BBN was the first one to report on December 10, 2018, that Hansa Heavy Lift was dropped by its investor, Oaktree, and filed for insolvency.
Oaktree Capital Management, said that due to ongoing challenges in the heavy lift shipping sector, it would not make any additional capital investments in the business.
Dr. Morgen who is appointed by the court, is a specialist insolvency solicitor and partner in the national law firm Brinkmann & Partner.
