EDF Renouvelables has just assembled the first floating offshore wind turbine for the Provence Grand Large pilot project. It’s a real technological feat and the first of its kind in France. They’re planning to set up three more turbines off the Gulf of Fos, which will produce enough electricity for 45,000 people each year. This is a huge step forward for clean energy and getting closer to our goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
