Fagioli was recently contracted by L&T Modular Fabrication Yard LLC for the transportation and load-out of a D30-2 Jacket at their Modular Fabrication Yard in Sohar, Oman.
The Jacket weighing 3207 tonnes and measuring 92m in length, 37.7m wide and 37.4m high was transported using Self Propelled Modular Trailers (SPMT’s).
Fagioli used 144 Axles and seven power pack units to perform the operation. A 300 class barge was also supplied by the client, and management of the barge including mooring and ballasting was under Fagioli’s scope which according to the company was well-engineered and executed safely.
