Gebrüder Weiss Industrial Projects recently completed the challenging relocation of a dismantled crusher in the United States. The project, which involved moving components weighing over 198,000 pounds (89.81 metric tons), showcased the company’s meticulous planning and execution capabilities.
With a comprehensive scope, it required extensive site work, precise export packing, and sophisticated transport engineering. To ensure the safe and efficient transport of the massive machinery, steel support cradles and lifting lugs were custom-fabricated. The logistical demands extended to the use of cranes, specialized rigging, and the coordination of multiple super loads.
Torge Runge and Brian Pfister, MBA, spearheaded the project, managing every detail with precision. Their leadership ensured that each phase of the operation was executed flawlessly, from the initial preparations to the final delivery.
Collaboration was key to this project’s success. The team at Oxbo Mega Transport Solutions played a critical role, particularly in providing the heavy transport expertise required for such a complex move. The contributions of Justin Salter, who captured stunning drone images of the operation, added a visual dimension that highlighted the scale and complexity of the task.
