Heavy Lift & Project Logistics Leadership Summit 2018 to Amsterdam

The Heavy Lift & Project Logistics Leadership Summit is coming to Amsterdam on September 10 and 11 this year. The event is the first of its kind and good timing now that the economy is recovering and many disruptive and innovative changes that are coming our way.

The organizers believe that the #HLPL2018 Summit will be a unique annual event that will take its place in the Breakbulk, Heavy Lift and Project Logistics industry. According to the event director, Amanda Labee, the HL&PL Summit is not going to compete with existing events like the Breakbulk Conferences as they focus more on the exhibition side while HL&PL Summit is about the summit side and filed with speakers and valuable leadership content.

Content related to innovation, technology, processes, talent and knowhow sharing on both the shippers (cargo owners) and the service provider side of the industry.

Participants are typically leaders from;

Shippers

  • EPC
  • Manufacturing
  • Construction
  • Infrastructure
  • Engineering
  • Oil & Gas
  • Energy Companies
  • Mining
  • Machine Builders
  • Etc.

Service Providers

  • Transport companies
  • Project Freight Forwarders
  • Freight Forwarders
  • Rigging Companies
  • Ocean Liners
  • Vessel Operators
  • Lifting Companies
  • Port Operators
  • Terminal Operators
  • Etc.

There will be many speakers and the list of this shall be communicated in the next month said Mrs. Labee.

The HL&PL 2018 shall be held in the Compagnie Theater in Amsterdam where the organizer is expecting to have about 300 participants from around the globe.

Labee told us that because people like to combine the event with a City Break we have decided for the Monday and Tuesday. Amsterdam is still one of those Cities that is great to spend a long weekend and combine this with work.
