This week (Wednesday 14 July) at Mundra port in Gujarat, India, an incident occurred while loading a large locomotive onto an MSC container vessel. The locomotive fell while being lifted by a crane.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported.
Update: We have asked MSC Project Cargo to comment on the nature and cause of the incident.

Who was the project forwarder and / or rigger for this move? This seems to be just another case of poor (cheap) planning. Just because it was to be loaded on an MSC vessel is irrelevant.
