This week the installation of the 640 tonne lift span for the Hising Bridge in Gothenburg took place. According to Tschudi Logistics, it is the final piece of the puzzle for the part of the bridge that passes the river.
Check out the video below to see the hising bridge lift span (42m x 36m) being shipped from Seville, Spain to Gothenburg in Sweden. The massive lift span was loaded onto the vessel UHL Future before being carefully maneuvered out of Port of Seville. The vessel then had a seven-day long journey before arriving in Gothenburg, Sweden.
For this project, Tschudi Logitics collaborated with TECADE, United Heavy Lift and United Engineering Solutions.
