Peak Group and CSL Forge Strategic Partnership in European Coastal and Offshore Maritime Logistics

Peak Group and CSL are thrilled to announce the establishment of their new partnership, Peak CSL Group, following CSL’s acquisition of 50% of Peak.

This strategic alliance strengthens Peak and CSL’s short-sea maritime transportation operations in Northern Europe, leveraging their expertise, resources, and collective capabilities in coastal and offshore maritime transport sectors. With a shared commitment to excellence, the partnership aims to provide comprehensive maritime logistics solutions tailored to the diverse needs of industrial clients across Europe.

Operating under the Peak CSL Group banner, the company can now offer an expanded range of services, particularly in the burgeoning offshore renewable energy sector. These services include logistical support for rocks and ballast for offshore wind farms, turnkey material transfer solutions, and a fleet of specialized project vessels, including low to zero-emission ships, all facilitated by the company’s engineering capabilities.

A cornerstone of Peak CSL Group’s philosophy is a proactive approach to decarbonization in the maritime transport industry. Through innovation and investment in high-energy-efficient vessels, the partnership aims to lead the transition towards emission-free maritime transport and assist clients in achieving their decarbonization goals.

“Through Peak CSL Group, we are forging a robust alliance, anchored in our strategy for the years ahead. Teaming up with a strong partner allows us to expand our service offerings into the oil, gas, and renewable energy infrastructure markets and build a solid foundation for future expansion. We are proud of what we have accomplished over nearly twenty years within Peak Group, and this partnership represents a significant step in our strategy for future growth,” said Jan-Petter Slethaug of Peak Group.

“This partnership marks an exciting new chapter of growth and collaboration at CSL,” added Louis Martel, President and CEO of CSL Group. “By joining forces with Peak, we enhance our ability to deliver innovative and sustainable maritime logistics solutions in coastal and offshore markets. With Peak CSL Group, we are expanding our product and service portfolio to meet the needs of our current and potential clients.”
