Yusen Logistics has signed an agreement with Toyota Tsusho Corporation on July 1, 2023 to use “Yusen Book-and-Claim”, an air freight transportation service utilizing SAF.
“Yusen Book-and-Claim” offers our valuable customers the entitlement of Scope 3 Emissions Reductions on top of basic air freight service by concluding a SAF usage agreement with Yusen Logistics. Yusen’s customers participating in the program will be presented with a CO2 Emission Reduction certificate.
The Toyota Tsusho Group reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through their business activities to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and sets a goal of reducing emissions by 50% from 2019 levels by 2030.
