ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S), the maritime and logistics arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has taken a significant step towards enhancing its offshore capabilities by acquiring a state-of-the-art multipurpose support vessel (MPSV).

The vessel in question, known as Safeen Prince, was procured from Safeen Group’s offshore division, a subsidiary of AD Ports Group. Although the exact financial details remain undisclosed, the acquisition marks ADNOC L&S’s commitment to expanding its maritime fleet with modern and versatile vessels.

Originally named Prince Jameson I, the 86-meter-long vessel was constructed in 2018. Following its recent repairs in Dubai’s dry dock, it was rechristened as ADNOC MP 01, as recorded in the VesselsValue database.

This strategic addition aligns perfectly with ADNOC L&S’s goal of maintaining the largest offshore fleet in the United Arab Emirates. Notably, the company had already reinforced its position within the sector by procuring Zakher Marine International (ZMI) the previous year. ZMI, now operating independently, will oversee the management of this newly acquired MPSV.

The acquisition of Safeen Prince underscores ADNOC L&S’s dedication to advancing its maritime capabilities, ensuring efficient logistical support, and strengthening its presence within the industry.
