Altius has completed the transport of a 7x4x4-meter, 71-ton transformer from Izmit, Turkey, to a Water Treatment Plant in Hamad, Qatar. In this instance, Altius opted to use a flat rack bed for the transport due to the advantages it offered in terms of transit time and cost compared to other alternatives.
Despite the complex logistics involved, Altius successfully completed the transport, ensuring the transformer was delivered to its destination safely and on time. The flat rack bed used for the transport provided the necessary stability and security required to transport the heavy equipment over long distances.
