The Colombian and German team of DAKO Worldwide Transport, recently worked together to deliver all equipment required for the 32 MW Cano Sur Project in Rubiales Meta, Colombia. The scope of their work included transportation from FOB to DAP jobsite, as well as the delivery of four EG-Sets, each weighing 135 and 125 tons respectively, and the necessary foundations.
The Cano Sur Project’s remote location in the Amazonas Basin posed a significant challenge. DAKO responded by developing a multimodal transport concept for the on-carriage of the main components to their final destination. Despite the logistical complexities involved, the teams worked closely together to ensure the project was completed on time and within budget.
