Another Project Freight Network

It has been discussed before and it will be discussed for many years to come that Project Freight Network organizations are there in many shapes and forms.

Most of the network organizations are just a network in the simple meaning of the word and organize a gathering once per year in some tropical location with belly dancers and other local entertainment and where members can meet one and other for a flash face to face. This is great if this is what a company is expecting to get from a network.
Many of the network organizations are owned and run by people that are not from the industry or have very little affiliation with the Project Freight and Logistics industry.

Seldom do you find a network organization that is actually putting effort in getting additional business for its members and is placing a high level of quality and exclusivity in the network. They too will meet once a year but meeting are of a different level altogether as these are all expert companies that have been qualifies through a Qualification Process.

Now there is a new network organization which has been started by a Freight Forwarder (not a project freight forwarder), Alexander Global Logistics GmbH in Bremen, Mr. Alexander Hellmers (we guess family of Mr. Carsten Hellmer who is the CEO of Alexander Global Logistics). The website doesn’t tell much other then the network is called Project Logistics Alliance (PL-Alliance).

As for the new members of PL-Alliance there is no publication on their website however it can be predicted that the offices of Alexander Global Logistics in Germany, Sweden, Russia (st. Petersburg, Vladovostok and Moscow) Brazil, Mongolia, China, and India are among them. If not, then there may just be a big conflict of interest for Alexander Global Logistics. Time will tell.
