Broekman Logistics Expands with New Branch in Istanbul, Turkey

Broekman Logistics has announced the opening of its new branch in Istanbul, Turkey. This expansion marks the first new country office since the company unveiled its strategic plan at the end of 2023, underscoring its commitment to strategic global growth and enhanced logistics and supply chain solutions.

The inauguration ceremony, held on May 16th, was officiated by Rik Pek, CEO of Broekman Logistics, and Martijn Tasma, Director of International Freight Forwarding & Shipping. The event was graced by consul-generals from The Netherlands, Turkey, and India, alongside key industry figures, partners, and stakeholders, celebrating this significant milestone.

Rik Pek highlighted the strategic importance of this new branch: “The opening of our Istanbul office is a significant milestone for Broekman Logistics. It aligns with our strategy to enhance our presence in growth regions of our key industries: machinery, industrial, and chemical markets. Next to this, Turkey plays a pivotal role in the Indian-European tradelane, one of Broekman Logistics’ unique propositions. We open a new office in Turkey because of the request of one of our larger customers to have our own presence there.”

Martijn Tasma added, “This new office brings us closer to our customers in Turkey. This branch will enable us to deliver top-tier logistics services and solutions customised to the regional market’s needs.”

Broekman Logistics is dedicated to maintaining its high standards of service excellence. “Our new branch in Istanbul will adhere to the company’s core values of reliability, efficiency, and customer-centricity,” said Abdullah Yesil. A team of experienced local professionals, possessing in-depth knowledge of the regional market, is ready to deliver customised logistics solutions to meet the unique demands of clients in Türkiye and beyond.

Looking to the future, Broekman Logistics remains committed to innovation and expansion. The opening of the Istanbul branch is a testament to their ongoing efforts to enhance service offerings and extend their reach. This presence will act as a catalyst for improved logistics efficiencies and greater market connectivity across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Rik Pek concluded, “We are excited about the opportunities this new branch will bring and are confident it will significantly contribute to our growth strategy.”
