Dachser, a global logistics provider, continues its strategic expansion in the United States with the unveiling of its latest warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. This marks the company’s second facility in the Atlanta area and its fourth multi-user warehouse across the nation. The new facility, boasting an impressive 130,000 sq. ft surface, reinforces Dachser’s commitment to enhancing its Contract Logistics capabilities.
Facility Highlights
The Atlanta warehouse, now Dachser’s largest in the U.S., accommodates a whopping 16,500 pallets and boasts 27 gates for streamlined truck loading and unloading. Equipped with advanced inventory management systems, the facility ensures efficient warehousing operations even for the most demanding customers. Additionally, on-site value-added services, including pick and pack solutions, further enhance Dachser’s offerings.
Dachser employs its proprietary warehouse management system, Mikado, at the Atlanta facility. Integrated into the entire transport process, Mikado provides maximum transparency, continuity, and security. Customers benefitting from Dachser’s services in both the U.S. and Europe enjoy the advantages of a globally consistent software system.

Situated strategically a few miles southwest of downtown Atlanta, the warehouse enjoys proximity to major highways, interstates, and the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, less than five miles away. The location also facilitates convenient access to ports in Mobile (Alabama), Charleston (South Carolina), and Savannah (Georgia) within a five-hour driving radius.
