The vessel, christened “MSC ANITA,” made its grand debut during a ceremony on January 9th, marking a new era in eco-friendly shipping.
Setting Sail with Innovation MSC ANITA, registered in Liberia, boasts impressive dimensions, stretching 366 meters in length with a beam of 51 meters and a gross tonnage of 153,864. Designed to effortlessly accommodate 16,520 standard-sized containers, this marvel of engineering can achieve a remarkable top speed of 25 knots.
Green Features at the Helm The vessel’s hull is not just about size; it embraces an optimized design for energy conservation. Complemented by energy-saving devices and high-efficiency rudder propellers, MSC ANITA also incorporates shaft generators and air-bubble technologies for enhanced operational efficiency.
Emission Compliance and Future-Ready Design Dalian Shipbuilding’s commitment to environmental responsibility is evident in MSC ANITA’s main engine and generator, both equipped with scrubbers to meet the latest emission standards.
