Delegation team from the Port of Antwerp-Bruges visited the Port authority of Cotonou

A delegation of Port of Antwerp-Bruges International with Dirk De fauwTom HautekietKristof Waterschoot and Bart van Mol, visited Port Authority of Cotonou to witness the progress made over the past years.

Since 2018, Port of Antwerp-Bruges International has been in charge of managing and overseeing the full modernisation process of the port, with a strong focus on digitisation, safety, working conditions, sustainability, and training.

Starting in 2022, construction works began to implement the master plan for completely renewing the port’s infrastructure.

In cooperation with the local team, Port Authority of Cotonou is becoming a reference for sustainable port development & modern port management in Africa.
