Online crane rental platform MYCRANE is set to make waves in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company recently secured a substantial investment in a Series A round, fueling its ambitious growth plans.

This strategic move into Saudi Arabia, unveiled at the prestigious Adipec oil and gas show, aligns with the nation’s Vision 2030 and diversification strategy. Andrei Geikalo, founder and CEO of MYCRANE, expressed optimism about the venture, stating, “We see no shortage of opportunities, particularly as Saudi Arabia has already committed to almost $1 trillion worth of construction and infrastructure projects, and announced plans to become a global logistics hub.”

Overseeing the Saudi Arabia operations will be Piet Kraaijeveld, MYCRANE’s seasoned Chief Operating Officer. With extensive experience in the Gulf region, Kraaijeveld is well-equipped to drive the company’s expansion in the Middle East.

Kraaijeveld’s initial focus will be onboarding customers onto the MYCRANE platform, facilitating Saudi asset owners’ registration of their cranes, and spearheading the recruitment of a network of sales executives across the Kingdom.

“The future success of the construction industry depends on its ability to adapt and leverage the latest technology, which is where MYCRANE has a valuable role to play,” noted Kraaijeveld, highlighting the critical role of technology in the industry’s evolution.

With more than 3,000 registered customers and a repository of over 15,000 cranes available for hire, MYCRANE’s digital platform provides an efficient, user-friendly solution for crane rental procurement. Offering a range of crawler, mobile, and tower cranes, MYCRANE eliminates the need for manual processes, streamlining the rental process for customers.
