Odfjell Drilling Ltd (“Odfjell Drilling”) is pleased to announce that on behalf
of CIMC OFFSHORE AS, the Company has agreed to extend the contract with Neptune
Energy Norge for the use of the drilling rig Deepsea Yantai to drill two further
firm wells in Norway.
The scope of the work is estimated to take 60 days and is scheduled to commence
in direct continuation of the two wells contracted with Neptune Energy Norge, as
noted in the Company’s announcement on 11 October 2022.
As a result of the signing of this extension, the backlog for the Deepsea Yantai
is expected to now be pushed back to the start of Q2 2024.
