(NYSE American: RLGT) has announced, earlier this week, another significant step in its growth strategy with the establishment of a new company-owned operating location in Kansas City, Missouri. This new venture, operating under the name Radiant Global Logistics (“RGL-MKC”), marks a strategic move for Radiant Logistics to enhance its specialized first and final mile control tower solutions across North America.
Led by Nancy Davis, a veteran with more than 20 years of industry experience, RGL-MKC aims to deliver exceptional commercial and residential services with a focus on white-glove and specialized solutions. Leveraging Radiant’s robust technology platform and extensive carrier base, the Kansas City location will serve customers who require precise and tailored first and final mile services.
Nancy Davis and her team have established their presence in the Kansas City region through Freight Concepts, a company that has been a strategic operating partner for Radiant since 2018. Now, operating as RGL-MKC, they will continue to uphold their commitment to on-time, damage-free, and highly attentive pick-up and delivery services.
Speaking about the development, Davis expressed enthusiasm for the partnership with Radiant, saying, “Given the shifting market dynamics, we believe we are in a unique position to step in and help fill the gap created by the very unfortunate circumstance at Yellow. We have been working behind the scenes helping Yellow and many of their customers with their first and final mile needs, including white glove and project pool distributions in North America, for over a decade.”
As part of this expansion, Brian Brownson, formerly leading Yellow Logistics’ Residential Direct division, and his team have joined Radiant’s new operation in Kansas City. Davis highlighted, “With the help of Brian Brownson and the resources of Radiant, we have the opportunity to really step up for these customers and build something special here in Kansas City along the way.”
