The shipment, totaling approximately 9,193 cubic meters, originated from Mokpo, South Korea, and was destined for Balikpapan, Indonesia.
The cargo included heavy components, some weighing as much as 194 tons and 145 tons, highlighting the complexity and scale of the project. To facilitate the transportation of these heavy items, Swire Projects utilized the Pacific Endeavour, our versatile heavy lift multipurpose vessel equipped with two 120-ton cranes.
The cargo’s ultimate destination was the Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) in Balikpapan, a crucial national project aimed at enhancing energy resilience and self-sufficiency. By delivering essential equipment and materials to support the RDMP, Swire Projects plays a vital role in the development of Indonesia’s strategic refinery infrastructure.
