Priority Freight, one of Europe’s leading logistics and freight specialists, has appointed Steve Downing as Head of Group Projects. Steve will be responsible for developing and leading a new project logistics division with emphasis on large air charters, complex multi-modal logistics solutions and project forwarding.
Steve has a wealth of experience in the global air charter, project logistics and freight forwarding sectors and has managed large corporate accounts across a diverse range of industries including oil and gas, energy, construction and mining. As well as working with many of the worlds leading humanitarian relief agencies.
Steve has also been a member
of BACA – The Air Charter Association since 1997 and was elected to the
council in 2009 and brings over 25 years aviation industry experience
with him to Priority Freight. Steve joins
Priority Freight from
Volga-Dnepr Airlines, where he was responsible for the strategic
development of the engineering and logistics division.
Prior to joining Priority Freight, Steve held a number of senior management positions within the F.H. Bertling group, where he took responsibility for operations and strategic business development in the international air charter, freight forwarding and project logistics departments.
