ALS Delivers Oversized Mining Machine to Guinea

Abnormal Load Services (ALS) successfully orchestrated a door-to-door delivery of an oversized mining machine from Europe to Guinea, Africa.

The exceptional cargo presented a considerable challenge, with the largest piece measuring 12.8 meters in length, 3.8 meters in width, and 3.40 meters in height, weighing a staggering 64 tonnes. To ensure the smooth movement of this colossal load, a fleet of 5 trucks was mobilized, utilizing a combination of road and sea transport.

The cargo consisted of various components, including a 12-meter-long conveyor, a conveyor suspension reaching 3.40 meters in height and weighing 22 tonnes, and an assortment of 10 pallets carrying spare parts and accessories.
