Blue Water has clinched a substantial contract with Yinson Production (YP), a renowned in the realm of floating storage, production, and offloading vessels (FPSO) globally. The contract entails the transportation of 15 modules, including one weighing a whopping 3211 metric tonnes, for the Agogo Topside Modules destined for AGOGO FPSO.
The FPS project team at Blue Water will spearhead the logistics operation, ensuring seamless transportation of the modules critical for the AGOGO FPSO project, which is set to be operational in the West Hub field of Block 15/06 offshore Angola, serving Azule Energy.
Expressing his excitement about the collaboration, Jason Goh, Blue Water’s Regional Director Asia, emphasized the dedication and hard work put in by the Blue Water team, highlighting their eagerness to contribute expertise and deliver impeccable logistics solutions.
Scheduled for May 2024, the transportation process involves both domestic and international legs, encompassing movements from Indonesia and Vietnam to China. Blue Water’s specialized team, comprising experts ranging from naval architects to legal advisors, stands poised to orchestrate the intricate logistics involved in FPS operations.
Anthony Zhuang, Head of Projects at Blue Water, hailed the trust reposed by Yinson Production, underscoring the honor it represents for the company. He expressed eagerness about the partnership’s potential, envisioning a pathway to shared success.
