CDWE is a Taiwanese wind engineering company, a joint venture between CSBC Corporation, Taiwan and DEME Offshore from Belgium.
CDWE has announced the start of the foundation installation works at Zhong Neng Project with the heavy lift jack-up vessel M.V. Apollo for pin pile installations. This is CDWE’s second offshore wind farm installation project in Taiwan. For the past two years CDWE has been working in close and good cooperation with the Zhong Neng and the local fabricator CTCI MAC teams on the preparation. The first load-out of pin-piles has already been carried out. CDWE will install 93 pin piles and the jacket foundations, as well as the Vestas V174-9.5 MW turbines.
