DSV A/S, the Board of Directors, has revealed changes to the Executive Board, with Group CEO Jens Bjørn Andersen set to step down by 30 September 2024. After 16 years at the helm of DSV, Andersen leaves a legacy of remarkable achievements and contributions to the company’s growth.
Effective from the specified date, Jens H. Lund, the current Group COO, will ascend to the position of Group CEO of DSV A/S. Lund, a Danish citizen born in 1969, has been an integral part of the Executive Board since 2002, initially serving as Group CFO and, since 2021, as Group COO.
Thomas Plenborg, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DSV A/S, expressed gratitude for Andersen’s leadership, stating, “DSV has been on a fantastic journey under Jens Bjørn Andersen’s leadership since 2008.” Plenborg commended Andersen for his role in transforming DSV into a global freight forwarding powerhouse with impressive financial results and substantial value creation for shareholders.

Acknowledging Andersen’s contributions, the Board believes that the timing is right to implement the succession plan. Jens Bjørn Andersen has agreed to continue as Group CEO until September 2024, facilitating a smooth transition and maintaining continuity in the senior leadership team.
