Jumbo’s Offshore Wind Summer Projects Have Commenced

The offshore wind summer projects have officially commenced with the M.V Fairplayer and the M.V Jumbo Javelin successfully loading their first transition pieces (TPs) for the season. The M.V Fairplayer and crew departed Rotterdam last week and are en route to the North Sea, while the M.V Jumbo Javelin has already begun operations in Taiwan.

With these developments, the offshore wind industry is set to make significant progress in meeting renewable energy targets, and these vessels will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation and installation of TPs.
