The unveiling comes after an eventful eight months for the company, marked by the introduction of a fresh strategy, new financial goals, an updated ambition and purpose, and the incorporation of new values derived from the insights of thousands of its employees globally.

This series of milestones signifies a transformative era for Konecranes, showcasing its dedication to bringing about positive and meaningful change wherever it operates. The company acknowledges its pivotal role in efficiently handling essential materials and goods for people while prioritizing the preservation of scarce resources and the reduction of emissions.

Anders Svensson, President and CEO of Konecranes, emphasized the company’s impactful contributions, stating, “Be it the fruit on your table, the tissue paper in your house, or the steel in your office building, chances are we have had a role in moving it safely, reliably, and sustainably. The newly introduced brand promise, “Konecranes moves what matters,” encapsulates the significant impact the company aims to make collaboratively with its customers and stakeholders. This rebranding initiative replaces Konecranes’ previous slogan, “Lifting Businesses,” which had been in use since 2006. The shift in brand promise underscores Konecranes’ broader role in global material handling beyond lifting. While the company’s logo and distinctive “C” symbol remain, they now carry an updated meaning to reflect the expanded scope of their involvement in the realm of global material handling.

The announcement spans the entirety of Konecranes’ global brand, and the changes are set to be implemented globally throughout the course of 2024. This move positions Konecranes as a dynamic force, ready to meet the evolving needs of industries worldwide and contribute significantly to the advancement of material handling solutions on a global scale.
