Liebherr Maritime Cranes on their way to Port of Immingham

Three new LHM 420 for Associated British Ports Immingham were loaded on the 17/November at their production plant in Rostock, Germany. The trio of cranes moved by themselves fully assembled onto the multipurpose freighter M/S Meri. In this way, the cranes are ready for operation shortly after rolling off the vessel at their destination.

The new machines are powered by a combination of electric motors and a diesel engine running on HVO. With a lifting capacity of up to 124 tonnes, the cranes will be used for bulk cargo handling and scrap handling in the Port of Immingham.
