Long-term Port Agency Collaboration Successfully Concludes for Blue Water

Blue Water’s Port Agency team has successfully completed its support for Αsso.subsea Group in their ambitious cable project for the Vesterhav Syd and Vesterhav Nord offshore wind farm initiatives. These projects, with a combined production capacity of 350 MW, are poised to meet the energy needs of 375,000 households annually.

Throughout 2023, Blue Water has played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of vessels and crews engaged in the cable project. The collaboration with Αsso.subsea Group has been a testament to Blue Water in maritime logistics and project freight solutions.

As the wind farm installation project nears its completion, most vessels involved have already set sail leaving Denmark for new projects. A noteworthy instance involved the transfer of one of the smaller vessels onto the semi-submersible vessel “Yacht Servant,” managed by Sevenstar Exceptional Marine Transport. Blue Water once again demonstrated its unwavering support during the float-on operation at the Port of Thyborøn.

Reflecting on this extensive collaboration, Ömer Karakus, Assistant Manager Port Agency, expressed satisfaction, stating, “We have been working very closely with Asso.subsea for the last year, supporting a number of vessels on a daily basis. It is always a special feeling when an intense project like this is coming to an end, but it is also nice to close it off with a job well done.”

This successful collaboration underscores Blue Water’s expertise in managing complex maritime projects, solidifying its position as a reliable partner in the industry. The synergy between Blue Water, Αsso.subsea Group, and Sevenstar Exceptional Marine Transport has not only ensured the timely execution of tasks but also fostered a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie.

Blue Water remains poised for future collaborations and endeavors in the maritime, breakbulk, project freight, cargo, and logistics sectors.
