Modern Logistics has proudly announced the delivery of its inaugural 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF). This remarkable addition, leased through Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management (BBAM), signifies a pivotal moment for the company as it marks the debut of the first-ever 737-800 within Brazil’s logistics industry.

The São Paulo-based logistics powerhouse plans to integrate two of these freighters into its fleet in the coming months, with the delivered aircraft currently undergoing certification by PCA Airworthiness. The final green light from ANAC, Brazil’s aviation regulator, is eagerly anticipated.

Cristiano Koga, the Chief Executive of Modern Logistics, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, emphasizing the crucial role of BBAM and PCA in this milestone. Koga stated, “The additional capacity and efficiency of the new aircraft will assure the future success of the company by better responding to the needs and requirements of our clients.”

As part of Modern Logistics’ strategic fleet renewal plan aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, the company currently operates three classic 737s, consisting of two 737-300Fs and one 737-400F. The gradual replacement of the existing fleet means that both classic and new-generation 737s will coexist in the company’s operations in the near term.

This move is not just a routine upgrade; it symbolizes a commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the logistics and cargo industry. The 737-800BCF is renowned for its reliability and efficiency, aligning perfectly with Modern Logistics’ dedication to providing top-tier services to its clients.

In the dynamic world of logistics, where adaptability and capacity are paramount, Modern Logistics’ strategic decision to introduce these new freighters demonstrates a forward-thinking approach. As the aviation landscape evolves, Modern Logistics is poised to meet the growing demands of its clients with a fleet that blends the reliability of classic models with the cutting-edge capabilities of the new 737-800BCFs.
