Port of Newcastle’s mobile harbour cranes in action

Port of Newcastle’s mobile harbour cranes had the job recently of unloading a 282 tonne section of a Prill Tower Scrubber from the Oriental Spirit. The scrubber is part of the particle emissions improvement project at Orica’s Kooragang Island facility.

Port of Newcastle’s 550 tonne mobile harbour cranes have the capability to move, not just containers, but a diverse mix of project cargo. They also have the ability to work in tandem for heavy lifts.
