Rhenus Ireland a logistics provider, has recently unveiled its latest addition—a state-of-the-art facility in Dublin. Situated strategically at the heart of major motorways, 11 kilometers from Dublin airport, and 22 kilometers from the city’s port, this new establishment is poised to enhance Rhenus Ireland’s storage capabilities significantly.
This new facility aims to streamline the management of Rhenus Ireland’s diverse portfolio, spanning various sectors such as energy management, life sciences, industrial, retail, chemicals, food and beverage, automotive, and other critical local industries.
Built to LEED gold standards, the facility boasts 12 dock levellers, two grade level doors, and a remarkable 17-meter clear internal height, complemented by a robust warehouse roof and an in-rack sprinkler system. Notably, it includes a dedicated ambient chamber, meticulously monitored to pharmaceutical standards, ensuring optimal conditions for sensitive goods. Operations will be handled by a team of 65 skilled personnel.
This expansion follows Rhenus Ireland’s earlier announcement this year, doubling the capacity of its Parkmore campus in Galway to an impressive 20,000 square meters. The move came on the heels of Rhenus Ireland’s acquisition of Source & Supply Logistics, a Galway-based ISO-registered and AEO-certified business, in 2021.
