The remaining shareholders, Contank, Hoyer, Schmidt, Pañalón and Kombiverkehr, along with the newly incorporated Salvat, Suardiaz and Primafrio, will each hold 11% of the shares.

In the case of the logistics operator Salvat, they have made the decision to join the shareholding because they consider that it is “a good opportunity, especially in the immediate future, which foresees favoring more efficient and sustainable transport systems from the point of view of the fuels used ”. For its part, the Suardiaz shipping company, which in addition to maritime transport also offers intermodal solutions to its customers, will be able to improve and expand its connections between the Mediterranean and central Europe.

Along the same lines, Primafrio controlled temperature horticultural road transport company, assure that the investment in this terminal will allow “the movement of goods that enter and leave our territory in a more sustainable and competitive way.” Furthermore, “CTC also offers us the possibility of changing the Iberian gauge to the European one, connecting Tarragona by train with Belgium, Italy, Germany, and China, with the commercial advantages that this entails for us”, they add, highlighting the advantages that This terminal is connected to the Mediterranean Corridor, as “important companies from Spain and Germany are part of this project.”
