Sarens PSG and Aventus Energy have recently inked a strategic joint venture, marking a groundbreaking collaboration to enhance services in the offshore wind sector. The partnership aims to streamline operations, decrease costs, and mitigate project risks by offering an integrated port marshalling service.

A Fusion of Expertise for Seamless Solutions

Sarens PSG, renowned for their expertise in turnkey heavy lifting, transport solutions, and port marshalling in the offshore wind sector, has teamed up with Aventus Energy, specialists in inspection, repair, and maintenance solutions. The collaboration leverages the strengths of both companies to provide a comprehensive service package from a single source, catering to the diverse needs of the offshore wind industry.

Addressing Market Demand

The decision to form this joint venture stems from the recognition of a growing market demand for a unified contract model capable of delivering a wide spectrum of services. By combining the capabilities of Sarens PSG and Aventus Energy, the joint venture aims to create efficiencies and meet the integrated requirements of the sector.

Strategic Project Execution

Sarens PSG is currently executing a significant port marshalling contract for the Moray West Offshore Wind Farm at Invergordon port. Steve Clark, Managing Director of Sarens PSG, expressed the significance of this collaboration, stating, “This is a significant development for Sarens PSG and Aventus Energy. Bringing the expertise and capabilities of both companies together to provide a single integrated contract model is unique in the wind energy sector.”

Ross Thomson, Managing Director of Aventus Energy, who will lead the newly formed Aventus SPG joint venture, shared his optimism, saying, “Everyone at Aventus Energy is delighted to form this joint venture with Sarens PSG. We look forward to combining both companies’ expertise and capabilities to introduce an unparalleled service offering for Port Marshalling and OEM Integration projects.”

Investing in Workforce and the Future

Aventus SPG has ambitious plans, including an immediate recruitment drive focused on offshore wind-specific training and an apprentice scheme. This initiative not only contributes to the success of the joint venture but also opens up numerous career opportunities, providing prospects for individuals interested in environmentally focused careers.
