Blue Water Expands in Australia

With its new office in Darwin, the transport and logistics group will be widely represented with five locations in Australia.

For years, Blue Water has been active within Oil & Energy and Renewables projects in the southern hemisphere. Due to the growing demands for transport and logistics services to projects of the Oil & Gas, Wind, Renewables, Infrastructure, Mining and Hydrogen industries in Australia, Blue Water has expanded its presence by establishing offices in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth in 2021. The company established its first Australian office in Sydney in 2012.

Now the time has come to open an additional Australian office – in Darwin. With extensive experience from his previous involvement in global projects, Jeff De La Pair will be heading the Darwin office and working in close cooperation with the other Blue Water offices.

“The Darwin location will support our growth plan for Australia, where we have seen a very positive development in recent year. It is key to our service and success that we are close to our clients – being able to support their business with efficient and tailored transport and logistics solutions,” states Steven Lofaro, Managing Director, Blue Water Energy, Port & Projects Australia.

Recently, Blue Water Australia announced a large contract with Newcrest Mining, which adds to the list of current projects won in Solar and Wind the last year. The track record for Wind consists of delivered transport and logistics services for eight wind farms in Australia during the previous ten years.

“We are experiencing significant synergies between the different power and energy sectors in both Australia, Asia Pacific and globally. Thanks to our comprehensive global and local know-how and highly dedicated teams, we can deliver unique services to the clients – not only in Australia but on a global scale,” states Steven Lofaro.
