Blue Water Shipping announcing the Kumul Service

Blue Water Shipping announcing the Kumul Service – a new regular liner service between North Asia and Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The service will be an extension to the current Blue Water liner service through to Lihir, PNG, and will now offer their customers a further solution into Lae.

Mr. Steven Lafaro Regional Director, Energy, Ports and Projects Oceania, sees a growing demand for cargo capacity, particularly for Breakbulk cargoes, in and out of Papua New Guinea.

“It is exciting to offer our industry a regular and reliable service. The solution will help strengthen the supply chain for organisations based in PNG, focusing on optimisation through both the importing and exporting of equipment in and out of PNG”.

The Kumul service, operating with the MV Gala – a multipurpose vessel with a single lift capacity of 150 mt. enables us to provide a regular and efficient solution that can benefit a wide range of industries due to the ability to receive containerised, break-bulk, project and out-of-gauge cargo.
