DEME Group have secured contracts representing 1 GW for the Hai Long offshore wind farms in Taiwan. This milestone deal between Taiwan based CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering (CDWE) and Hai Long Offshore Wind follows nearly three years of planning and preparation under a preferred bidder agreement. The contract scope covers the transportation and installation for the foundations, turbines and offshore substation.
The new offshore installation vessel ‘Green Jade’, designed and under construction in Taiwan, will play a key role in the execution of this pioneering project.
