The LHM Litronic crane weighing 742 tonnes can lift 308 tonnes. The crane is 48 metres high and has a leg length of 66 metres. This corresponds to the length of 22 containers!
The crane arrived on the ship M/V Aura which transported the crane from Rostock where it is produced. The agency for the vessel and the stevedoring assignment for Liebherr, which is the manufacturer and seller of the crane.
The crane will have a major positive impact on the port’s capacity, as it can lift 2,300 tonnes per hour.
