DEME Offshore is once again making waves in France as they embark on the turbine installation campaign at the 497 MW Fécamp offshore wind farm. With the successful installation of the first turbine, their DP2 jack-up vessel, M.V. Innovation, is ready to deploy all 71 of the 7 MW Siemens Gamesa turbines.

Although turbine installation may not fall under Innovation’s typical scope of activities, as the vessel is predominantly recognized for its expertise in foundation installation.
