Hansa Meyer Moves Generator for Siemens Landivisiau project

Hansa Meyer Global awarded a transport scope for the Siemens Landivisiau project in February 2020.

Recently, Hansa Meyer Global handled the shipment and onshore transportation of a 405 tonne Generator, a 317 tonne Gas Turbine and a 183 tonne E-Type Turbine from Rotterdam, The Netherlands to the job site at Landivisiau, France via port of Brest, France.

The Generator and Turbines will be installed at a newly constructed combined power cycle plant in Brittany, western France. With an installed capacity of 446 megawatts, the power plant will help to reliably cover Brittany’s growing demand for electricity.
