SAL & deugro Ship LNG Heavies to Russia

SAL’s ice-class vessel MV Klara recently transported LNG project equipment from Masan and Pyongtaek, South Korea to Murmansk, Russia.

In total, SAL has supported the LNG project with the shipment of about 30.000 frt onboard five different vessels.

The project is being developed in the Gydan Peninsula in the northern part of Siberia, Russia, and is expected to have a production capacity of 19.8 million tonnes of LNG a year. It is one of several projects being undertaken in the Russian Arctic region.
