CEVA Logistics expands their airfreight network in lithium battery handling

CEVA Logistics has received CEIV certification for handling lithium batteries at the following locations: Frankfurt, Incheon, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.

The CEIV certification is issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the CEIV Lithium Battery program. Currently, CEVA handles lithium batteries in Amsterdam and Hong Kong and ensures that more than 1,300 tonnes per week are carefully handled.

We’re continuing to expand our global network as well as the quality and safety of our air transport services. With the improved SKYCAPACITY program and our newly CEIV certified air stations, we have strongly increased our ability to co-create value with our clients across a wide range of industries.

Says Peter Penseel, chief operating officer, air freight, CEVA Logistics
