Heavy lift vessel MV Fairlane was spotted recently loading project cargo in Porto Marghera for their client DAHER.

This special cargo is destined for the ITER project in southern France. ITER is an ambitious energy project, with 35 nations collaborating to build the world’s largest tokamak, a magnetic fusion device designed to replicate the fusion processes of the Sun and create energy on Earth.

“Each piece loaded onboard has been tailormade for this experimental project and as always our reliable crew were on hand to handle the precious cargo with the utmost care and attention.
Special thanks to Fusion for Energy as ITER European domestic agency and Símic as manufacturer for the positive collaboration!” Jumbo-SAL-Alliance
