This acquisition is earmarked for their upcoming Flatholmen terminal in Ålesund, promising an uptick in capacity and a substantial reduction in carbon emissions. The order, confirmed in the third quarter of 2023, is slated for delivery in the second quarter of 2024.
This significant investment by Tyrholm & Farstad marks the inaugural crane acquisition for their Flatholmen terminal, demonstrating their commitment to expanding operations and catering to burgeoning local industry demands. Designed to seamlessly adapt to various cargo handling needs, the electric crane will facilitate the efficient management of both container and general cargo for the Møre og Romsdal region.
