In a significant stride towards sustainable and eco-friendly construction practices, Sparrow Crane Hire proudly announces the addition of the revolutionary Spierings SK1265-AT6 eLift to its fleet. This six-axle mobile tower crane is not only the largest of its kind in the world, but it also boasts 100% emission-free and silent operation, setting new benchmarks for the industry.
The decision to invest in the SK1265-AT6 eLift was a natural progression for Sparrow Crane Hire, following the resounding success and positive feedback from customers for the SK599 already present in their fleet. The demand for a larger and more environmentally conscious machine prompted the move, aligning the company’s operations with their commitment to sustainability.
The Spierings SK1265-AT6 eLift is a powerhouse of performance, with an impressive maximum capacity of 10,000kg up to a height of 13.2 meters. Its unrivaled radius of 60 meters and tip load capacity of 1,700kg at a horizontal jib height of 35 meters make it a formidable asset for heavy lifting tasks. The crane’s lifting height reaches an astonishing 64.2 meters with a 30° luffed jib.
One of the most remarkable features of the SK1265-AT6 eLift is its innovative Zero-Emission eLift system, which allows it to operate entirely emission-free. The system can be conveniently connected to a 32A grid connection, commonly available at most job sites. Moreover, the energy consumption can be adjusted between 11A and 25A through the user-friendly display, ensuring sufficient power reserves for other equipment on-site.
The PowerPack® battery technology incorporated in the crane efficiently absorbs energy peaks, optimizing its usage. When a mains outlet is unavailable, the crane can still be charged using a small 55kW 3-cylinder diesel engine, which adheres to the latest Stage V emission certification. This exceptional engineering ensures that environmental consciousness does not compromise the crane’s outstanding performance.
Sparrow Crane Hire is delighted to have the SK1265-AT6 eLift ready for hire since the beginning of the week, 31st July, following comprehensive training at the factory. Their customers can now benefit from this cutting-edge crane’s capabilities, providing them with an eco-friendly and high-performing solution for their construction projects.
The introduction of the Spierings SK1265-AT6 eLift marks a pivotal moment in the construction industry, where sustainability and performance seamlessly converge. Sparrow Crane Hire’s commitment to embracing such innovative technology sets a remarkable example for the sector, driving towards a greener and more responsible future for construction and logistics.
